Children have a different life-style in these modern times. Basically they love to do a lot more things in-doors than ever before. This is the downside of LCD t.v.s, notebook computer pcs, Ipods, high-technology video games & other modern toys. While TVs and video games were certainly around when I was a kid in the 80s, my father forced us out the door to play outside. This was a good thing for my fitness level, in retrospect. & to be totally truthful, we loved it! This is probably the best source of exercise & fitness for kids. Simply allow them to run around and frolic with their peers out-doors.
