Iscar currently offers a family of high-performance slitting tools that merge the convenience and security of Tang-Grip clamping with the added strength of the completely new Sumo Tec insert grades.

The notion, already proven effective in Tang-Grip parting tools, has now been extended to slitting cutters. In the patented Tang-Grip clamping system, inserts are press-fit into their pockets accompanied by a specialized hand tool, and are clutched securely in place without the need without requiring clamps, upper jaws or set screws that can weaken the insert and disrupt chip flow.
