It is pretty ironic and tragic how our priorities every once in while back-fire. She actually really enjoyed it. I like to believe that she still likes the way I read more than she likes children books on cd, but I bet it's a close-call. The kids audiobook readers are great. My diction is not bad, and I am a pretty expressive reader, but these are real trained actors. Your average run of the mill dad just simply can not compete! They know exactly how to read children books to make them thrilling and engaging, keeping your children on the edge til the very last page. Even though my little girl is still sad when I go out of town, the kids audio-books make my trip a tad easier on her. Both of us are very happy about that.
